Notes

Screenplay consisted of four short plays specifically commissioned by the Stephen Joseph Theatre: An Empty Seat, The Illicit Dark, Double Feature and Bit Part.
The Screenplay plays were produced either in pairs as lunchtime time shows in The McCarthy auditorium or all together as a full evening's production in The McCarthy.
All the plays are linked by Scarborough's Odeon cinema (which is now the home of the Stephen Joseph Theatre) and each play is set in a different period of the cinema's existence.
